Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Baxendale (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit this website or use the Baxendale service, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, email founders@baxendalehq.com.

This website

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and keep them secure.

If you fill in the request access form, your answers are emailed to us through Resend, our email delivery provider. We use them, like any email you send us, only to reply and, if you ask for access, to set up your workspace.

Information we collect in the service

• Account information: your name, email address, organization and role.
• Contracts and content: the files you upload, the text we extract from them, and what we produce from them, such as summaries, findings, key terms and suggested changes.
• Activity and security records: an activity log of actions taken in your workspace, and records of sign-in sessions, including the IP address they came from.
• Feedback: anything you send us, such as a report about an analysis.

How we use it

• To provide the service: to analyze your contracts and show you the results.
• To keep accounts and workspaces secure, and to prevent abuse.
• To support you and to tell you about changes to the service.

We do not sell personal information, and we never use your contracts to train AI models.

Cookies in the service

When you sign in, the service sets one essential cookie that keeps you signed in. It can’t be read by scripts on the page, and the session it belongs to ends after six hours or when you sign out.

How we protect your information

Uploaded files and the contract text, findings, summaries and key terms derived from them are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. All traffic uses HTTPS. Access to a workspace is limited to the people in that organization. See our security page for details.

Service providers

We use carefully chosen providers for hosting, databases, file storage, sign-in and email delivery. When a contract is analyzed with a third-party AI model, its text is sent to that provider only to produce your analysis. Providers may process information only to deliver their service to us. A current list is available on request.

How long we keep information

We keep your contracts and their analyses until you ask us to delete them or your organization’s account ends. We keep account information for as long as your account is active, and activity records for as long as your organization’s workspace exists.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or your organization’s contracts, by emailing founders@baxendalehq.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, and you can complain to your data protection authority.

Children

The service is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell customers about material changes before they take effect.
